LHR sends condolences to the family of Nic Swart, CEO of the Law Society of South Africa

Today, we learnt of the passing of Nic Swart, the CEO of the Law Society of South Africa. In his capacity as CEO, Mr Swart steered the law society into a new era under the Legal Practice Act and during his tenure as Director of Legal Education and Development (LEAD), Swart made an important contribution in developing a more diverse generation of young attorneys entering the profession. We at LHR send our deep condolences to his family and colleagues.
